Saskia gave birth to four male pups on 12th January. Here is a picture of some of them with their mother.

Here they are on day 19. For some reason the colour photo had a reddish tinge so it was quicker to convert to black and white than mess around trying to adjust the colour. I will try again later. Their mother is feeding them at the moment.

Their pedigrees arrived today which is uncharacteristically efficient for the Kennel Club. This is the pedigree of Araxes Toro, The others are named Toto, Tino and Tell because this is a 'T' litter. You can, of course, call a pup what you want. I once had a male dog whose registered name was Gilbert vom Emkendorfer Park but we called him Ben.

And another on day 22. They have actually just started to eat independently although they are still mainly fed by their mother. They had a small amount of minced beef.

One thoughtful looking pup. When they are awake they now move around quite a lot so they don't stand still for photos.

They are now in the kitchen in an enclosure which gives them peace from the adult dogs and prevents them being trampled on. This is their mother keeping an eye on them.

Here they are on day 49. As you can see, they are growing quite quickly now.
